Unboxing the March Your Nail Lab Lux Box

The March Your Nail Lab box, a collaboration with Christina Couture, arrived! I've been a fan of Christina's work since the beginning of my nail journey, and I was excited to see what this Lux Box held.

The box included double XL stiletto tips, which were surprisingly long. They needed a bit of shaping to achieve a perfect stiletto point, but the overall quality was good.

Also included were gorgeous butterfly charms (though one went missing – my toddler 'borrowed' it!). These large charms are perfect for adding a touch of whimsy to any nail design.

Rhinestones, Stickers, and More!

Macart rhinestones are a personal favorite, and this box didn’t disappoint! Six different sizes were included, offering plenty of options for creating intricate designs.

Matching butterfly stickers added another dimension to the design possibilities. There were eight stickers in total – a generous amount for a nail art set.

Two gel polishes completed the set: a sky blue and a lavender. The polishes are known for their smooth application and vibrant pigmentation.

Poly Gel and All-in-One Acrylic/Dip Powders

The mystery item turned out to be a Rosalia poly gel – a shade I was considering buying anyway! This serendipitous inclusion was a pleasant surprise.

Two new Macart Pro all-in-one acrylic and dip powder systems were also included: clear and sugar white. I opted to use them in the dip powder method, even though I didn’t have the official system.

Applying the dip powder was a bit tricky without the proper tools, resulting in a less-than-perfect application on the clear color. However, the sugar white dip powder was exceptionally easy to work with and produced a stunning finish.

Nail Application and Design Process

I started by prepping my nails, ensuring the tips fit perfectly. I used a peel-off base coat to help with adhesion and then applied a gel base coat.

The poly gel application was surprisingly easy, and I built the nails layer by layer, adding a cuticle bead to create a beautiful apex.

I incorporated the butterfly charm, rhinestones, and stickers, building a fun and intricate nail design. The butterfly charm was heavy, but the overall look was eye-catching.

Nail Dust Collector Review

I also reviewed a nail dust collector purchased from Amazon. While quite loud (like a vacuum cleaner), it was effective at containing dust during filing.

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

Overall, the March Your Nail Lab Lux Box delivered a fantastic selection of high-quality products. The poly gel and sugar white dip powder were standouts.

While the XXL stiletto nails were impractical for everyday wear, the overall design was visually stunning. The nail dust collector was a great addition to my nail art tools.

This box is a great value, offering a diverse range of materials perfect for creating unique nail art designs. Highly recommended for nail enthusiasts of all skill levels!
